The fall program is the Journalism Foundations Fellowship, a selective paid training program rather than an internship: you take live classes, report one real story with a working editor, and publish it under your byline. It gives you what most students are chasing when they look for an internship, which is a published clip with your name on it.

The practical path is to build clips: write for your school paper, pitch your local outlet, enter student journalism contests, and take a program that ends with something published.
